Responsive - J20: Initial Research into J20 and Competitors

The J20 logo is infamous and recognised instantly. The current logos aren't actually that colourful apart from the dark green, It is the juice that brings the bottle and product to life. Whilst it still works as a design, it looks quite dated and needs to rejuvenated.

Other J20 Designs:
I decided to look into other rebrands of J20 just to see the route that people have gone down.

I quite like this design, I feel like the logo would only have a strong impact when the bottle is empty and the negative space would work. The bottle shape is different and it specifies in the brief that the bottle needs to stay the same. Overall this design really aims at a different target audience.

A nice idea here but doesn't fit with the brief that has been set. It still feels like its aimed at a younger audience.

Juice Competitors:

Very simple, minimalist design which really lets to colour of the juice take centre stage. It is a nice contrast with the white type and logo.

Another example of using the juice in the bottle as the background colour with no defined shape to the label, it works nicely.

I really like the bottle top label design. It reminds me of wine labels and creates a nice contrast with the colour of the bottle. Perhaps this would work well for J20 as the bottle colour would show through. The font and design definitely looks like it is aimed at an older audience.

I really like how the design works across all the different juices. Focusing on just type still works and makes it appear organic.
