Logostarter: Research into Children's Game Logos

I decided to look into different logos for children's games before I tried to design my own. I tried to focus on more physical games that came in a box just as KonneKt would. I wanted to look mainly at games that connected children by playing together rather than one player games.

Lego
Lego was an obvious game to look at as it a game everyone remembers. The endless possibilities to build anything works will the KonneKt concept. The use of bright red has become iconic paired with the curved round font. This is the type of font I want to look into using.

Buckaroo!
Again using yellow and red gives an inviting and exciting colour theme. The font is very cartoon like almost like it is in a comic strip saying "bam".

Twister
Red is eye catching, the font implies twisting by not being straight along the bottom or the x height. The T itself is a great way of showing a twist. The font is fun and does sum up the game.

Operation
Operation is a slab serif font, it is punchy and fits the style of the games design.

Jenga
Jenga equally involves building something albeit more structured, The font really reflects this. The two red lines imply ints being constricted or is between layers just like a jenga brick.

Playmobil
The font is soft and round which works well for the children's toy. The blue is refreshing whilst still being relevant for children.

Fuzzy-Felt
The fuzzy-felt logo really suits the product it is bright, colourful but different colours from the felt and box backgrounds so it stands out.
