Logostarter: Crit Feedback

I took this piece to the crit and the feedback was really useful. The concept behind the design seemed to go down well, having the different layers representing the transparency of the window and double layers of the game. It was suggested to change the colour of the name so that it wouldn't draw so much attention to the odd spelling. Everyone said the colour choices worked well together but perhaps experiment with combining the colours with the idea below.

I began to experiment around with this idea but I'm not a huge fan, it just looks really clunky in my opinion and its not as strong or punchy as the straight on one. I think thats because the ends tail off or at least its supposed to but it is hard when each component of the letter has the same width.

The angle looks good with the bounding box around it but as soon as it goes there is no clear angle and the K just looks mis-shapened.

However the green type and also in lowercase works really well. It doesn't pull the attention away from the main K anymore instead compliments it and pulls the piece together.

One of my main concerns was that the logo wasn't clear for people that didn't know the game but general feedback says that it works great as a logo for a child's game and it hints at what the game is about. Perhaps after you've played the game the logo would have more significance.
