This is their website so far, they don't seem to have a clear logo and the design seems pretty basic so that gives me a lot to work with. Im not a fan of the spelling of the name especially with the capital K in the word as it breaks how you read the word. I think it looks quite harsh on the eye and the font doesn't suggest its anything to do with children. I think the font needs to have more of a human element, maybe handwritten but still neat so it shows compassion.
Logo Requirements
The logo needs to appear child friendly and interest all children as the main thing that I think this product does is make children in treatment feel like a normal child and allows them to interact with other children. At the same time it is adults buying it so it needs to have some level of structure and communicate what the product is.
The colours used should be bright and welcoming to encourage the children to play. Orange seems to be a colour that they use repeatedly across their website and also on kickstarter. I will definitely look at using the same orange but will not limit myself to it.
I think any elements in the logo need to be quite curved. Anything too sharp or defined will look clinical and not child friendly. The pieces that they play with are abstract shapes where the children define their own meaning.
The font should be hand rendered or at least have some type of human style to get across the companies values.
