I began researching into playing card packaging and packaging in general (http://h-street1316-dc.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/brief-4-communicate-packaging.html) and from my research created this design.
I wanted the packaging design to be simplistic and just stating what its aim is. The name 'play your cards right' uses a saying but twists it to fit to the product - rules to card games so that people play right/correctly. For the whole packaging the font is all Ostrich Sans which I feel works well because there isn't an extensive amount of body copy so it isn't overly harsh on the eyes.
