Responsive - Pocketbook: Business Cards

After discussing the idea of using an image on the business card we decided that it would be best to try in and see. I wasn't sure whether an image would really work with the size and whether it would be weird to hand someone a business card with your face on it.

Best Photos

After selecting the best three photos I cut the image of Harry out on photoshop and then placed the image into the business cards. The first problem occurred with their website and email being quite long. It wouldn't fit in with the image so it was taken down to 8pt which is perhaps a little on the small side for a business card.

Maintaining the colour that was used on the logo to try and unite the two sides, however it may be too heavy.

Using the colour just on the name works better as it acts as a highlighter, highlighting his name it is not too much colour.

Highlighting the lines doesn't work it squishes all the information and then takes the attention away.

Again, it looks condensed. The information needs to be as clear as possible.

Scrapping the image idea and leaving those for solely the website I have stripped back the business cards so that it is only the needed information. The grey background has been kept so that the logo and text is not against white.

The Avenir typeface has been used throughout the design.

I have experimented with the type sizing on the business cards. The smaller version looks neater and compact where as the larger text may be easier to read but perhaps looks clumpy.
